Corpsemire Bog
Located on the furthest northern bank of Rakeclaw Pentaconfluence and directly opposite Dragon Scar marsh, Corpsemire bog stretches for over 200 kilometers along the waterways. It is technically considered a part of Cor Danath, while differences in makeup and biodiversity separates it from the neighbouring marshlands.
It's prevalently a peat-filled quagmire that the people of Cor Danath often use for their bog burial rituals. Its colloquial name derives from that very tradition and has given rise to many chilling stories surrounding the still waters of these foggy mires. They are a dangerous terrain to traverse at best of times but are crucial for reaching the Hermetic cove from the south.
