Dragon Scar Marsh

Spread over a large area along the Rakeclaw Pentaconfluence, and flowing into the Drakkwund delta, these marshes are an expansive biome that covers an area of nearly 250 square kilometers. The grassy and muddy lowlands with succeeding rushes and reed areas are difficult to navigate and traverse for non-natives, with many quicksands and other dangers lurking around every bend. The mixing of cold and warm weather often brings fogs rolling from the north, as well as an ancient miasma that persists throughout the area, make travel even more dangerous.
