Cor Danath
The Ben Tuůrnir highlands are succeeded by a lower set of highland hills interspersed with peat-filled moors together known as Cor Danath. It is an unforgiving region made out of flint rock, peat, bogs and small thorny brush, and is the home to many separate barbaric groups that vie for its meagre resources. It is a land shrouded in mystery, superstition and myth, with low-hanging mists that obscure vision, and inhabited with dangerous flora and fauna. It is also one of the few ways to reach the Hermetic Cove and the peninsula that follows it, making the highlands an important route despite its dangers.
Much of the moorland's waters drain eastward to Corpsemire bog and south to Rakeclaw Pentaconfluence and Dragon Scar marsh, with only the north slopes flowing towards Kylighaf Sea. The landscape is sparsely dotted with small tough tufts of forested land that struggles to gain purchase with very little success.
