High Emperor Antonidus Vender

High Emperor Antonidus is the latest in a long line of Emperors from House Vender. Crowned just two years ago, Antonidus is already a cagey and smart political operative. Born from the small Velos side of the family, Antonidus grew up with the finest tutors and instructors who prepared him to be a legate, but such was not his fate. Having positioned himself to become head of greater house Vender at age nineteen, Antonidus undertook one of the greatest series of negotiations and debates to eventually receive the support of thirty-one Elector Counts. While this would normally not be enough to elect an Emperor, after the death of Emperor Theon a deadlock gripped the Elector Counts, as they debated between eleven different options. Leveraging his small but loyal supporters, Antonidus was able to negotiate, scheme, and debate an increasing number of Electors into his camp until he was finally elected to the post, making him the youngest Emperor in more than four centuries.
Antonidus' first years have shown him to be a brilliant legalist and administrator, personally taking an interest in important cases and pushing for reform to the massive and arcane Code Civil.
