A renowned and brilliant military strategist that has served Folke faithfully for the majority of his life. Relieved from the Royal Guard when the organization was dissolved roughly 60 years ago. Now holds the lands of Tamen Top Castle and the title of Count. When he first assumed his new title, he was injured on a hunting trip by a mighty bear. Accepting his fate, the injured lord was saved by Heve'ther (Thorasius Fierhart's mother). Upon slaying the bear, the female goliath brings the wounded human to a strange cave and nurses him back to health. During their time together, the conception of Thorasius Fierhart takes place. In October of 359 G.E, Joseph was made aware that he had fathered a half-goliath child when Thor hunts him down via records at Queen's Coast. Upon Thor's arrival, he is terrified to be faced with the same bear that had attacked him all those years ago, but Thor reassures him that its simply his animal companion Buffy. After getting to know one another over a couple days, Thor carries Joseph up to the cave he had been healed in all those years ago. Revealing to Thor that he has a half brother, Joseph Oldrill, the newly acquainted father and son leave on good terms.
