By far the bloodiest battle of the War of the Bowlsea, the Battle of Carcionne was a multi-day siege and subsequent battle that was the nail in the coffin for the war. Losses were great on both sides, but the intervention of Gharlbrand's forces tipped the assault drastically in the favor of the attackers, taking the main gates of the city in seconds with a powerful spell.
