The Ruins of Narder Castle

This is the third of the triad locations that saw the first and worst draconic death devastations, and the fallout from the energy has been nothing if not cataclysmic. The dragon that fell here was one of the oldest in Ashirma at the time, and the energy outpour has yet to fade. It was during this event that they discovered of how a dragon's death can reshape a person's entire physiology along with that of the land at the site of death. What locals of the castle survived the initial implosion were left warped. Some came out on the better end, now turned into the shapes of dragonborn or morphed into more dragonlike shapes. Even still some more elemental creatures came to be, those that now call their heritage from the elements. Others however were terribly mutated and mishapen, becoming unrecognizable monsters that still wander the lands to this day.   And unfortunately, the site has never been stable since. Those who dare wander in have never returned the same as mutations take over their body and mind from the lingering magical outpouring of this old dragon's last revenge. And so it was decided that this location needed to be guarded so that the making of more and more disasterous monsters would not be great.   Tankard Town: Kingdom of Revelry took up this mantle in the beginning, and has been in charge of managing the energy output from this area ever since. The pure energy that is harnessed from here can sometimes affect those born in or near this area which creates more Genasi, Dragonborn, Kobolds, and other strange monsterous creatures than we are used to seeing.   It is considered to be a place of unholy creations, and it is even rumored that the things people become are the last machinations of the mind of the dead dragon. A living memory of imagination, hatered, and grief.
