The Chorus of Harmony
The Chorus of Harmony is the Holy Order of Yshirea, the God of Order. They are not only the major religious order but also the government and ruling power of the Theocracy of Ordina. They rose to power in the years following the Breaking and slowly but surely carved a nigh permanent place within the land of Ordina. The Chorus is completely entwined within Ordinian culture as is their desire to bolster Order and stamp out Chaos. Many within other lands would claim they go too far in their methods, seeking to convert those who embrace chaos, and if unable to convert, then to mark them as being of chaos and casting them out. Despite this, the people of Ordina believe in the generosity and care of Yshirea, they do not blame him for the Breaking. That is mostly cast upon Berana and N'avrio.
The Chorus is lead by a single leader, known as The Exemplar, who serves not only as the highest word of the government, but also the military and he, or she, serves as the religious leader for the Chorus. The Exemplar is believed to be the mouth through which Yshirea speaks to his followers. There are three advisors to The Exemplar who regularly meet with him and carry out his others. They are known collectively as The Triumvirate. The Maestro is in charge of overseeing all non-religious and non-military matters, taking care of the day to day running of the lands and overseeing any and all judicial matters. The Cardinal is in charge of a large majority of the Chorus and handles all religious matters and questions of faith that may arise. The Inquisitor is the third advisor, and he is in charge of the military of the Chorus. All knights and a large portion of the clerics fall under his domain. He is in charge of not only directing and bolstering the Chorus' armed forces but also in dealing with those who prove too chaotic for life in Ordina.
