B'erysh, The God of War Character in Ashiel | World Anvil
The son of Berana and Yshirea, B’erysh is the God of War, born from a fight between the two Elder Gods. Blood and sweat and pain and joy at harming the other all mingled and formed B’erysh. He is a tall and impressive man, his body lean and muscled and dark of skin, built for fighting, a wild mane of hair and a thick beard both the dark color of spilled blood. His left eye is a pale blue and his right eye is a pale red. Stretching out over most of his body are loops and whorls of bone white tattoos. He is often depicted as wearing only pants and a vest of animal hide. He bears two swords, each one forged during the great storm of the Breaking. One blade is pure white and forged from a bolt of pure order from Yshirea. The other blade is pure black and forged from a bolt of pure chaos from Berana. He has at least a few small houses of worship in almost every land, though shrines to him are rare. Isenfeur and Azura both have a temple built in his name and the humans of Azura as well as Orcs the world over praise B’erysh. His symbol is a sword pointed to the sky.
