Sepida

Possibly one of the rarest species in Elysium, the Sepida live primarily in the marshes of western Olifia, around the Samista region. They are amphibious cephalopod-like creatures, who have the innate ability to float on land, but must spend much of their time submerged under water lest they dry out. Sepida are individually fragile and physically vulnerable creatures on land, but they possess considerable magical potential they use to defend their marshy homes. Though they are typically an isolationist species, and unless threatened by outside force, will not often venture far away from where they were born. Very few people in the Westerlands have heard of the Sepida, let alone seen one.
