The holy order of the Phoenix Lord Arianwyn, the Order of Ashes is an elite military unit where might alone determines your worth. For millennia they led the Wild Hunts against human realms, and in every major battle that the Phoenix Lord has fought, her fanatically devoted knights have marched at her side. To become an Ashen Knight is incredibly prestigious for the Phoenix Lord’s warriors, and while like the military overall the ranks are open to all Folk, the intensive years of training necessary are often too long for the shorter lived Folk to be inducted into the order.
