Hills of Zori
Much of the interior of Olifia east of the Silvertop Mountains is populated by the bipedal worm-like hives of the Zori, their nomadic tribes traveling through lands settled by Raksaa and Coatl peoples, frequent wars emerging for resources such as fresh water. When the Ansharan Protectorate was established and their native homelands invaded, however, many Zori were forced to abandon their traditions as Elven magic and relative technological prowess defeated them and their Sandwyrm Elders. As a result many Zori had little choice but to live as indentured servants and auxiliaries to colonial forces, but some have managed to resist, retreating to the hill country of interior Olifia to defend themselves against aggression. The Zori tribes coalesced into a confederation able to organize war and logistics, based in the newly founded encampment of Zorn. The Hills of Zori make frequent allies with the Samista League and Tzunin in their bids to remain independent, though many Zori are wary of the violent raids of the League and their old adversaries in Tzunin.
