Demon

The dimension that many peoples of Elysium call ‘Hell’ is populated by an alien species that feed off of souls with shapechanging and fluctuating near-immortal forms, and many see the denizens of the world as beings of primordial evil, shaped by sin on this world and condemned as ‘Demons.’
Some religions even claim that Demons are born of sinful souls sent to punishment by the heavens, and often cite this in their polemics to remain pious and repent their sins. Gaeans for instance believe Diabla is the Queen of all Demons and desires nothing more than the corruption of mortal souls through her fiendish vassals.
What Demons call themselves and their home dimension is largely unknown, as Demons speak little of their nature to outsiders. Not all Demons are forever bound to a consumptive nature either, as the supposed transcendence of the Raksaa nation to mortality on Elysium appears to suggest.
