City of Gods

For as long as recorded history has attested to, a large structure, possibly metallic in nature, has floated over the eastern mountains hemming in the Valley of Tzunin. The structure has been called the 'City of Gods' by many Coatl and folk from northern Olifia, and they see it as a mythical resting place of heaven, wherein the holiest of holies reside, in the form of the faith known as the Followers of the Fallen. Whatever its nature, the 'City' has never been breached, and attempts to use magic to land on it or attack it are rebuffed by some invisible barrier, which the Followers take as evidence of divine protection.

The 'City' has also been the place where it is said the mysterious species known only as the 'Fallen' originate from, gaining the epithet from the belief they literally have 'fallen' from the structure over the many centuries. Scholars have had precious few records of anything attested to by the Fallen, and as such can only make guesses as to the true nature of the so-called 'City of Gods.'
