Cahadell

Once the largest citadel in all of the Westerlands, Cahadell was founded by the Phoenix Lord Arianwyn herself to serve as the base for all of her Wild Hunts and wars of conquest throughout the centuries. That was until the day after the Battle of the Gates of Fire, where an unknown explosion destroyed the city. The shock caused the Lords to reconsider their plans of invading the human realms and end the war. Today, Cahadell is a blasted ruin inhabited by a poisonous energy that gives a deadly, possibly magical disease any who venture into it.
