Horkholm

Horkholm was a settlement in the Bloodpetal Tundra allied with Skalheim. The town was inhabited by orcs and dwarves (as well as a single star-spawn). The town was by the Gra'horn (Lake of Teardrops) and Galdrak (Dragon Glade). The town was primarily a supply of fish, mammoth, tusk and lumber for Skalheim and was lead by the Riversong clan.

Government

The town is governed by the Riversong clan, who are allied with Skalheim. The clans that live in the village swear their loyalty to the Riversong, so long as doing so does not place their own clan in harm's way.

Defences

The town has no walls, rather the wildlife population has learned to keep it's distance from the hunters and guards of the town.

Geography

The town is set by an enormous lake out of which arises a beautiful island, the remnants of Gael, the Spiritmother. Many orc families, especially those with shamans, get up at sunrise to watch the sun hit the lake and create a beautiful orange glow over the surrounding land. Shamans typically speak a prayer and pay respects at this time.

Natural Resources

Wood is harvested from Galdrak under the supervision of shamans, that ensure that the wood is collected responsibly. Bone, hide, fat and meat are hunted for from the giant animals of the tundra.

Town
