Augustus Reeve hails from a long line of prosperous merchants and landowners, his family name one of the oldest and most respected in the financial world. His wealth didn’t come easily, though. Augustus worked hard to secure his place at the top of the financial ladder, earning his wealth through strategic investments, mergers, and shrewd business deals. He is a man of vision, not just wealth, and his focus is always on the future, positioning himself as both a steward of wealth and a leader in the economic world.
He found Cindroth during the Dragonborn’s early merchant days, recognizing the young dragonborn’s potential as both a sharp strategist and a disciplined worker. Augustus took Cindroth under his wing, seeing in him a kindred spirit who could help expand his financial empire and secure his legacy. Over the years, Augustus has mentored Cindroth, teaching him the value of patience, the importance of calculated risk, and the strategic mind required to thrive in the world of high finance.
While Augustus is reserved and measured, he’s not blind to the growing influence Cindroth has within the bank. He sees the dragonborn as a valuable asset, perhaps even a successor—though he’s careful not to let that thought interfere with their professional relationship.
