The Merchant's Guild exists to help establish order in Brightshore, with the three groups that form the guild representing the different forms of trading done in the city decisions made by the guild are unbiased and aimed to benefit and protect all merchants and traders.

Assets

The Merchant's Guild was founded by the joint cooperation of the three major parties of merchants in Brightshore, Baset Family, the Balworth Trade Company, and the Sunstone Union. The resulting group can use the resources of the involved parties to make decisions in the best interest of Brightshore that trade there.

Military

The many guards and protection found in Brightshore are provided through the Merchant's guild as they lend out their organizations' bodyguards to cycle throughout the city.

Trade & Transport

Major trade deals and product movements in Brightshore are made through the Merchant's Guild in order to provide both a higher level of security and greater assurance to all parties involved that the deal will be handled by skilled merchants and traders. With Brightshore being considered the largest and most successful port in the realm the guild has to oversee the various ships and transports coming into the port to ensure smooth movements.
