Breakwater Prison

Purpose / Function

Breakwater is the realm's largest prison, holding dangerous criminals from across the realm's territories that are otherwise too dangerous to keep in their home countries. Similar to the Aurum Tower in the Erest Republic, Breakwater Prison is one of the most well-guarded locations in the world and acts as a sort of neutral zone not directly controlled by any one country more so than another with the Clearwater Kingdom simply overseeing the area and taking responsibility for the tower.

Defenses

One of the most notable forms of defense at Breakwater is the area the prison is built on, residing in one of the few areas in Litore that is a magic dead zone. Acting as a magical syphon everything and everyone in the area of the prison are sapped of magic which acts as a natural barrier preventing preventing teleportation spells in and out of the prison as well as a large scale zone of antimagic within the compound that removes any possibility of magic being cast by prisoners.
