NPC Crafting and Crafting During Downtime.
There are times where the party may decide to have an NPC or inactive PC create an item for them. The time to craft is the same, however, no RP points can be returned. The roll is simply made to determine if the crafter succeeds or fails.
Players may also choose to have their active character crafting during downtime. The rules are the same however crafting goes against their players downtime action economy.
