The Lord of the Hunt
Each incarnation of his being is created by merging it's self to the dyeing body of a follower requesting aid. Few are truly worthy of the honer and response to such a call but those who are, combine with the spirit to create a powerful being. The resulting amalgamation takes characteristics from the host with added structure, size, muscle and attributes. these include the antlers of a dear, emerald eyes and flowing tattoos covering the body. Once the merge has taken place the new Lord of the Hunt does his best to complete or follow the last prayer of the host and any other prayers deemed worthy in the mean time.
He's a bit of an outcast from the other fey, but he likes that, given his hobby. he is considered to be of both courts of the fey world summer and winter due to nature also being a part of such cycles. He sit's in the middle helping to keep the two sides in balance, using his hunts to keep either side from becoming to powerful. As such he will be found mostly in the material world conducting his party through the world to help nature flourish, enabling the Great Eye's creations to live as peacefully as possible.
Those who know of his melding ability covert his power, believing they would be able to control the hunt and direct it to give themselves and their preferred side the uperhand. There have been many attempts, various ploys to capture and force his powers onto them selves, or charm and perswation to trick him. However never has there been a success, often due to his most devout followers able to come to his aid.
If he takes a fancy to person as a prospect, or if they provide him a suitable hunt, he might come to you. Few have had the honer of knowing him personally but those that have have often been powerful allies in terms of either their magical ability with the forces of the natural world, or their physical prowess and skill in a hunt, or wisdom of the world and how to look after it.
many have atributed him with the Huntress in the old Elven religion. However though they are closely linked they are not the same being. in truth the huntress was his first devotee in life, the first mortal to attract his attention and the first to learn and follow his ways. Though she was more than worthy of the merging of their spirits she refused, happy simply to do her part and be laid to rest at the end like nature required. His first true meld was in fact with her son.
he's possibly connected to the Black Prince
those he watches are often of druidic inclination and often of elven race though anyone who shows the right inclination may draw his gaze. He also has rule over dryads, nymphs and other fey creatures of natural origins.
The current Lord of the Hunt took the host of Aela's father, the Spirit melded with the soul and body of Aela's father after his death. He was a dedicated hunter descended from an old race of fey priests who worshiped the Lord of the Hunt, and the Spirit of Nature answered her father's prayer to watch over Aela and protect her. However when she melded with Crystal, the Lord of the Hunt found it difficult to track the young girl until Aela started to surface again following her encounter with the Orb of Weaving

Holy Books & Codes
There are few writings on this particular Archfey due to his aloofness and unique life cycle. Once there was a close following of priests but for reasons unknown the brotherhood declined and only a few descendants held close to his codes and protected his writings. The last book to be considered holy was lost as the Poison Tears unknowingly raided a small family for their children, killing one of the last protectors of the Lord of the Hunt's written tenants.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
A horned wolf, teeth bared, vine-coated antlers splayed over its head.
Tenets of Faith
The main tenet is to protect, protect the world around you as well as your family and friends. never to take more than you need, and to use your skills to their full potential. There is no demand for you to sacrifice in his name or to go out of your way to help, only that you help where you can and teach balance and adherence to personal values. Paladins and priests of his faith will often look for ways of helping the Lord of the Hunt to keep peace within nature, weather that's fighting the undead or helping to heal a damaged woodland, though in resent times his following has diminished, those who know well of the hunt believe it has something to do with the creation of the Deadlands
Holidays
Festival of Life, Festival of Decay celebrated on the summer and winter solstices respectively.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Is the protector of the wild, dedicated to keeping balance to nature and to keeping the hunt alive.
