Liora I

With Liora's ascension, the [far west] took advantage of the inherent chaos of her coronation and razed the imperial villa within their borders to the ground, capturing many of her soldiers and holding them as hostages. Their ransom? Freedom for [far west]. Liora was unwilling to grant them this, and instead staged a variety of military parades and expensive counter attacks, eventually retrieving all captives and razing many [far western] cities to the ground. She ruled with blood and fire, and the empire remained intact, for now.
