The efforts of Ylais and Kysro finally come to fruition - a human child is born healthy, with magic.

Since 500, Ylais and Kysro had put aside their differences in order to better their people, and had begun to work on ways that they could give power to them. With centuries of attempts, involving Oracles, teens, and young children, the twin gods struck upon the idea to give magic to humans while they were still in the womb, thus allowing them to adapt physically to handle this alteration. Idea firmly in hand, the following years were spent experimenting with amounts of magic and the balance between the two gods powers. Finally, in 872, the first child is born healthy, with magic. The first Maiden.
