Asavla The Assassination of Empress Twila III

The Assassination of Empress Twila III

Life, Death

1147

Twila III had plans to expand into the even further north west, but decided she should check on the state of her current empire before expanding. While visiting Nirvejan, a small band of assassins broke into the villa where she was staying before continuing her trip, and murdered her. Accounts vary as to whether she was asleep and as to how many assassins were there, but the results were obvious - Empress Twila III and many of her closest advisors, including the maiden many thought would succeed her, Ciel, lay dead on the floor of the villa. Chaos ensued.
