After Twila IV's ascension, the far west erupted into chaos. No longer content with small acts, vast groups of the populace mobilised and took advantage of her coronation ONCE AGAIN to completely destroy any signs of the Empire's organisations within their country, kidnapping puppet leaders and installing their own government, based in the south. They were almost immediately formally recognized by Stolisia, who were unable to send aid due to blockades around their sole western port. While [far west] was not formally recognized as an independent nation during Twila IV's reign, it is widely understood that it was functionally acting as so by the end.
