The East Range Quarry was founded just outside of Viercourt, and is dedicated to bringing stone and bricks to Viercourt for construction and maintenance purposes.
The East Range Quarry is attacked by a group of flying snakes, killing 3 workers. Guards were eventually dispatched from Viercourt to deal with the threat, but only after 5 days of the remaining workers being trapped inside their dwellings.
Construction began in 1076, but was only finished in 1098, with the Royal Academy opening its doors to members of the royal family. It would not be until several years later that the Academy was open to all that could pay tuition, and not just the Coulian Royalty.
Baumgartner approaches his old friend the Fourth Prince of Coul, asking for work as a mercenary serving the royalty. The prince accepts, sending him north to hunt down brigands terrorizing the people of Coul.
After serving the prince as a mercenary for 2 years, the prince offers Baumgartner a position teaching combat at the Royal Academy of Coul.
The Kingdom of Coul as well as several rebellious Midlander leaders begin to raise troops for the oncoming Quarasian War, drawing troops from city guards, volunteers, and conscription.
After a conflict between a Coulian sentinel and a Quarezi patrol, the Quarasian War officially began. Legus Shore is killed in the fighting.
