The horsemen of the desert. They're religious and very military focused, that would make Albion people jealous. Not many people can make the desert a home, the harsh lands of Al' Mech kingdoms is land of heat and dangers. To these humans the Al' Mech deserts is lovely and strong. Some people say the Odey Shashi reflect their homeland.

  • Born in the Saddle- This culture has the most adaptable horses than any other country or kingdom. They tame horses better than anyone else. They also ride any horse like a professional. Gain P.P. reducing tame/ride to d4. Spend plot point to raise 1 step tame/ride skill.
  • Religious passion- One does what they can in life to earn their seat at the table of the divines. Gain P.P. when lowering your Lore skill and any profession in this skill to d4. Spend P.P. to raise up the Lore skill up one step.
  • Weapon focused- They are skill in many martial skills and weapons. No one in their culture of any profession does not know at least one weapon or fighting style. Gain P.P. when lowering your Fight skill/ professional skill to d4. Spend P.P. to raise one fight skill by one step up.

  They decorate their bodies as much as they decorate their palaces and homes. Depending on the House that someone is from the Odey Shashi will have tattoos and piercings. While some houses will not want their people to have such things but will dress in elaborate colors of fine cloths or silks.

Coming of Age Rites

Boys- must learn to ride and swing a swing at the same time. Mounted combat is a tradition in many areas in AL 'Mech kingdoms.   Girls- are pushed to learn healing arts and practice Kabal magic. Some Houses allow woman to be fighters and assassins. They're rare. By the age of 16 kids must have a trade to go into or bring shame to their family. A celebration of adulthood is a big party of family and friends and the great house the family is a part of.

Funerary and Memorial customs

Men who have served by protecting the Great House is the most honored burial a man can earn. This can be applied to a woman as well, but it is harder for them to be recognized. Most people are buried in tombs of the great house their family belongs to. This way they can be with those they know and serve the great house in the next life. If the person does not have a great house their family belongs to than in tradition must be burned with the song of great sail must be song and then the ashes are taken to the river or the sea to be reincarnated to the next life.

Common Taboos

The Arcane arts okay to some of the Houses in Al' Mech, but it is looked upon with suspicious. Wika magic is not allowed anywhere in Al' Mech. If women want to learn magic, they can learn some of the arcane and pushed towards Kabal magics.  Women who enter the life of a warrior are usually kicked out of their families. They must join a Great house or sadly become a mercenary.

Ideals

Gender Ideals

Men must be protector and be the leader of their household. If a man cannot lead or protect their family, they are weak. Men must bring money home and pay for the living they have earned. Women must be able to heal and care for their children and husband. Most women do not go into careers of danger and murder. "That is only for men." Is a common saying among women. Women have to prove their skills and be ignored by most members of the family to go take a job as a smith or guard. Women who go into the temple are loved by their families and sometimes they are boosted up in the social high Archey.

Courtship Ideals

Many of the marriages are pre-arranged by the higher members of the families. This is common practice. It is few, the poor tend to be the only ones with the freedom to date others and marry who helps and is known by the family.

Relationship Ideals

Women tend to family problems while men pay and own everything. men own land and houses women will own clothes and horses and livestock. Women wear dressing to hide their hair when their married.
