Lord Arnold Caspion
The man in charge of the Irion city of Carthan. He promotes higher learning and Enginuity above all things for his people. He does know not everyone in the city is capable of such higher learning and tries to keep those who cannot and do not seek such learning away from those can that need to focus on improving the lives of others.
Magic is important as the clockwork technology, and he loves it when the people combine the two together. He does not trust any of the Shilen that may live in the city and does not stop or deter people from promoting hate towards them. his lovely wife Brighde Caspion, is a wonderful Keltori woman. loves life and tries to help all the people in Carthain, regardless of status or the level of learning they have.

She is loved by many of the fisherman and farmers of Carthain. The mages that come from low-income families also agree that she is a kind and beloved ruler. Many of the people know that she runs the day to day, meaningless task of the principality and her husband is technically only really in charge of the knights and the watch. Some in the city say the lord uses his power over the city watch to spy and take from the "uneducated people."
