The Sealing

The historic event where almost every high-powered being used their magic to create a Seal over the whole planet Arvion. This Seal is known to combat ancient beings that supposedly are like Daimon but it is unsure if they are Daimons themselves. For many of these being fractual description have been recovered form the pre-sealing times, with most notably all being named after the gregorian alphabet and the demonition "rask" which has unknown meanings. One of the aftereffects of the event is that almost all knowledge has been lost with the sealing and the fighting pre-ceding the sealing. Thus, civilization of all sentients was set into a darkage of rebuilding. Furthermore, the Seal itself hinders strong mana-beings thus lowering the possible influence of most gods and god-like beings. In addition, since many of these higher beings were involved in the sealing themselves they are assumed to be even in this age extremely weakened. Still, the direct presence of most gods can still be seen or felt. The Sealing covered vast areas and changed space and time in these areas and amass large amounts of Miasma. What was once a vast city could thus entirely dissappear. Usually the Sealing was focused on metropolitan areas since this is where it was most easy to ammass vast amounts of magical technology and energy to even allow the sealing. It had the ultimate purpose to starve the rask beings until their extinction since they need to consume Mana-based matter and cannot be sustained on Miasma alone. At least that was the theory. Now The Seal itself seems to get weaker, thus leading to leaks into the once sealed of areas. These leaks are the origin of the dungeons, where it is possible to infiltrate what was once sealed and explore the altered world due to the high Miasma infleunce. In these realms Daimon developed their own ecosystem in whta scholars called staggering short time considering the time frame since the Sealing.
