Obsidian

Obsidian is type of gemstone generally rare but common in local aggregations. It is know to occur int hw Fog Canyon. Like many gemstones it can be used to store or harness magical energy and thus implant more complex spells into objects that are decorated with the stone. Yet, from recent discoveries in the Fog Canyon it has been noted that at least one species of Daimon (Mist Stalker, or Howler in the Fog ) can lay their youngones into these stones as makeshift eggs.
