Shadowfell

Geography

The Shadowfell is a joyless, colourless wasteland. Its geography is a twisted reflection of the material plane. Where the mountains of Empala stand in the material  plane is the crumbling city of Evernight, home to the Shadar Kai eves and their deity, the Raven Queen. The forests are twisted and dying, hostile to all that enter them. The ground is dry and ashy, punctuated by large shards of rock and crevices. There are a few settlements dotted around the dark landscape, containing a few weary mortals, though most are under the rule of the Silverbloods.

Fauna & Flora

Very little plants can survive in Shadowfell, and the ones that do are warped to accommodate the hostile environment. The residents of Shadowfell also mimic this trend, with undead creatures and malevolent spirits lurking within every fold of darkness.
