Deadman's Caverns

Demographics

The caverns are filled with all manner of vampiric creatures, including almost the entire population of lesser vampires and spawn, that function as the Silverblood army. There is a substantial human population, however the vast majority are Shells and are kept under lock and key specifically for feeding purposes.

Government

Deadman's Caverns are ruled over by Dmitri Silverblood. As a military general, he commands great respect from his men. This is partially because the majority are spawn or lesser vampires without higher thinking capabilities, who are unable to perform many tasks other than fighting and following their creator blindly. There are a few other greater vampires, who are all high ranking military officials, and are similarly loyal to Dmitri.

Infrastructure

Deadman's Caverns are winding tunnels that bury deeper and deep into the rotting earth of Shadowfell. Every construction serves a purpose; there are training areas, mess halls, private quarters for greater vampires, barracks for spawn and giant caverns that are little more than empty pits filled with lesser vampires.

History

The Caverns have existed in the mountains since long before the arrival of the Silverbloods. However, they have been the first to successfully colonise it, driving its dark, scuttling inhabitants even deeper into the ground.
