The Vodan Drismir are a subrace of the Drismir. They are also called the Water Genasis in the Common tongue. Even though their name might suggest it, they actually do not live underwater, simply because they lack the ability to breath underwater. Just like the dolphin they just have the ability to hold their breath for an extremely long time. But because they still need to breath, they settle themselves on the surface. Vodan Drismir, like other Drismir races, are extremely rare in Arthenos. They aren't feared because they always seem to be friendly, but they will be looked upon strangely. People will ask questions about them wherever they go. They have the ability to control water. They don't have the power to summon tidal waves or to increase the see levels, but they do have the ability to fill an empty glass with water and to move the water in a generous way. They achieve this ability by birth. Some of the Vodan Drismir are so gifted they become a water sorcerer. These sorcerers are imbued by Storm magic. It is said that they are gifted by the sea god Maro.
