Jonathan

Jonathan is the legendary hammer of Thrym Mickelson. It has the ability to always return upon command towards the owner and has the power of lightning stored within it. Now it hangs on the wall of the Hardened Hammer giving the store its name.

History

Jonathan used to have a different name: Oborvrah, or Giant Slayer and was created by the legendary blacksmith Kriplin Forgemaster who made it as a gift to Thrym because Thrym had saved Kriplin's life. It was named Giant Slayer because Thrym was famous for using the weapon to clear Galnéath from all of its Giants. The hammer received the new name from Thrym's daughter, who named it Jonathan when she was a little girl.
