Gwallgofrwydd

Gwallgofrwydd is the Peion of Madness and he is a special one under the Peions. It is never certain what his next step will be. It could be he sleeps for millennia only to awaken and bring about the apocalypse. He wasn’t always the Peion of Madness. He actually was the God of Reason before the divide, but the corruption of the Word of Sartor, drove his reasoning to the extreme, pulling him into madness.
His realm is the Banderhaggle, the word literally has no meaning, and there he lives alone, with his servants. There are demons who do his bidding and servants for his amuse. Living here is not knowing what will happen any day. Some days you could be treated to a huge meal and festivities. Other days you were bound to a pole and had your gut eaten out by a giant bird. This is life in the realm of madness.
It was Gwallgofrwydd who created the race of Gnolls. After his descent into madness his followers were cursed with madness as well. They turned into the Peions playing toys, spreading chaos wherever they went. They used to be humans but now were turned into hyena-like creatures. They laugh when their prey is around. They act randomly and with ferociousness. The Gnolls have a patron named Yeenoghu. It is the manifestation of the insanity of the Gnolls and it is said that some Gnolls are chosen as ‘bearers’ of Yeenoghu. They get possessed by the patron and are granted great power. They go on a killing spree until they themselves are killed. Thus is the fate of the Gnolls.
