Eek of the Horn Tribe is a squirrel who has vowed his life to protect the weak and innocent. He was captured by a group of bandits. He also has a giant rat that he rides into battle. He has lost an eye in a legendary battle with an owlbear. He also worships the Great Acorn, a manifestation of nature itself. It is said that those who find his acorn are blessed with eternal glory. Eek has been on a quest for this acorn for his whole life, ever since his parents died in a fateful woodland fire. His parents taught him to protect the weak and help those in need. Honor is the most important thing in this world and there is nothing that will keep Eek from honoring his code.
Eek is part of the Horn Tribe, but he doesn't really know where they are because the woodland fire killed most of its inhabitants. Eek is an optimist and doesn't believe that all members of the Tribe have died and is also looking for his long lost comrades.
He also rides a giant rat named Tar in battle.
