Gond is a rather independent god, as he is most concerned about creation itself and less what comes from it.
He is on good terms with Lathander (a god of creation), Waukeen (a goddess of trade) and Tempus as his creations are tied to creativity, profit and war which aligns with the interesses of these articular dieties.
And his only real adversary is Talos, as reckless destruction poses a danger to his creations.
