God

Gods are the rulers of the planes beings of immense power that follow their divine portfolios and look over the material plane from behind the divine gate. The first gods were created by the god of all gods Ao himself. However, by now many different gods have risen and died some of which are mortals that ascended, powerful immortals that gathered enough followers, or simply angels of Ao that replaced gods which died or were smitten by the god of gods. one thing all gods have in common is that they have been mostly hindered of interacting with the material plane. Only through followers and in other rare circumstances can they directly influence the prime material plane.
