Colonel Gruul Respirin
Colonel Gruul Respirin was one of the last remaining orc warlords that were resisting the Godemperor on his way to power. He was a wise and powerful warrior and so soon realized that there was no point in fighting the inevitable and so he offered himself as a tribute for the assurance that his tribe would be accepted into the empire and would not suffer the same fate many rebellious tribes suffered before. Moved by this display of loyalty towards his own the god-emperor spared Gruuls life and promised safe integration of the strongjaw tribe into the empire in exchange for Gruuls everlasting loyalty and service in the military. Gruul who always was a fighting man and knew he would die in battle anyway gladly accepted.
In the following years, Gruul slowly rose through the ranks despite his rather limited intellect, due to his resolve, prowess in battle, and absolute loyalty towards every single other member in the military. He fought in many battles and proved himself a worthy foe for many of the remaining adversaries in the old world giving him the nickname the conqueror. After the portal was found he was nominated to travel through and take control over the heavy infantry in the new world.
Since he took over the heavy infantry of the 4th Empire Army started to resemble a barbaric orc horde more and more every day. Under his tutelage, the heavy infantry lost some of its refined military battle tactics and structure. However what they gained was complete and unshakable resolve, uncomparable battle skills, and camaraderie stronger than any other battalion of the army. If Colonel Respirin orders to hold the line, not even the Lords of the Nine Hells and the Abyss can move them without killing them all.
Physical Description
Body Features
Muscular and Broad, Colonel Respirin with his height and build resembles more a walking wall of steel than a humanoid in armor. He has brownish-green skin and large tusks that he wears proudly. He has many scars across his body from countless fights. His most notable scar, however, is across his throat from a failed assassination attempt. Since then he does not talk much due to damage to his vocal cords. when he does is his voice is deep and rasping.
