Physical Description: The many outsiders of the celestial realms and abroad come in many varied forms, as do their influence on malbaar. The mortal offspring of such beings often possess many abnormal traits such as wild skin and hair colour, crystalline body parts, tails, wings, feathers, metallic bodies and more. Due to this it is impossible to give any single one description of those who would be the classification of afytebarn.

Relations: As the progeny of afbaar, afytebarn are often considered to be divine boons from the heavens or as a short lived love between a mortal and a celestial. Afytebarn often have greater allowances and lenience provided upon them due to their divine heritage due to the belief that one who lives a happy life could do no wrong among the common people. Despite this, the blood in their veins have no implicit connections to what drives an afytebarn.
Adventurers: While many are often content in their every day lives, some usually feel the desire to explore and seek out lives where they can better provide back to the world that's provided for them. Often making great leaders or bannermen, the afytebarn's desire for glory lead them to often be great champions, clerics, and fighters.
Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage receive these changes to their racial traits.
Standard Racial Traits
- Ability Score Modifiers: Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage replace the ability score bonuses provided by their base heritage. They gain +2 Wisdom and +2 Charisma.
- Type: Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage are outsiders with the native subtype.
- Languages: Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage begin play speaking Throne as an additional language. Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage with high Intelligence scores can choose the following: Draconic, Dwarven, Jiljagossan, Goblin, or Keimite. Feat and Skill Racial Traits
- Skilled: Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage receive a +2 racial bonus on Diplomacy and Perception checks. This racial trait replaces a racial trait that provides a racial bonus to an ability check or skill check.
Defense Racial Traits
- Celestial Resistance: Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage have acid resistance 5, cold resistance 5, and electricity resistance 5.
Senses Racial Traits
- Darkvision: Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage can see perfectly in the dark up to 60 feet. This racial trait replaces a low-light vision racial trait if it can, however, this trait is received regardless.
Magical Racial Traits
- Spell-like Ability: Creatures with the Afytebarn mixed heritage can use celestial healing (self only) once per day as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability equals the afytebarn’s class level. This racial trait replaces a spell-like ability racial trait or a racial trait that provides a bonus feat.
Alternate Racial Traits
The following alternate racial traits may be selected in place of one or more of the standard racial traits above. Consult your GM before selecting any of these new options.
- Halo: Some afytebarn possess the ability to manifest halos. An afytebarn with this racial trait can create light centered on their head at will as a spell-like ability. When using their halo, they gain a +2 circumstance bonus on Intimidate checks against evil creatures and on saving throws against becoming blinded or dazzled. This racial trait replaces the darkvision racial trait.
Favored Class Options
The following favored class options are available to all characters of this race who have the listed favored class, and unless otherwise stated, the bonus applies each time you select the favored class reward.
- Arcanist: Add +1/6 to the number of points the arcanist gains in their arcane reservoir each day.
Variant Afytebarn Heritages
While the general afytebarn belong to a variety of muddied afyte ancestors. Those of distinct ancestors receive different abilities and traits. When using afytebarns as player characters, you can choose to use a specific heritage instead of the general racial traits. - Alternate Skill Modifiers: The listed skill modifiers replaces the standard afytebarn's racial bonuses from their skilled racial trait and also give a +2 to the two skills listed.
- Alternate Spell-Like Ability: The listed spell replaces the standard afytebarn's spell-like ability and also functions once per day as a spell-like ability.
