Session 7: Crimson Tide, 8th Day of Dusk 255 TTE Report
General Summary
The party awakes to an unknown vessel bearing down on them. To make matters worse, their rudder was disabled in the night, so they have no choice but to stay and fight. As they approach, it becomes clear that it is being crewed by a hastily-assembled group of Crimson Cultists. Pullup up beside them, the Cultists demand that the party surrenders. After a brief bout of verbal sparing, shots are fired and they begin boarding. Both sides sustain numerous injuries before the Cultists decide they've had enough and begin to retreat, but not before catching the party's ship on fire. The party puts out the fire and mends the damage to the hull while the Cultists sail off.
Seeing that the Cultists are going to keep pursuing them and will likely attack with greater force next time, the party decides to go on the offense. Kalas knows someone that may be able to help in Shallowrock. They spend the rest of the day sailing to Shallowrock, steering clear of Floatdocks and the Black Maw. Once there, Kalas takes the party to meet with a yet unnamed Octkin that agrees to help the party with their situation if they help her with an issue of her own. She says she will send for them in the morning, which gives the party some time to lick their wounds.
