Sard

Atop a rocky outcropping along the southern edge of Okanu is small town built of slabs of stone and hardened sand. The jungle vegetation that dominates the rest of the island has been cleared of the area, creating a part of eerily baren land. This town is the only piece of the island that belongs to the nation of Morydal. The lifeless patch of earth reminds them of the desolate landscape that is their homeland, giving them a sense of belonging. The rejection of the lush vegetation found on the rest of the island is odd for a people that spend their lives looking for drops of water, sprouts of plantlife, and tracks of suitable prey, but the most common response from the inhabitants of Sard is that they don't want to enjoy any luxuries their fellow Morydans struggle so hard to find. However, this does not restrict them from benefiting from the trade between Amyhra, Morydal, and Ohedyn.
