Amyhran Academy
The Amyhran Academy was built to provide advanced training to the Consort, which, at the beginning of the Consortium, served as it standing law enforcement/military force. When the threat from the Feral tribes became significant, the military side of the organization split off into the Coalition and became the primary benefactors of the Academy. However, as the threat grew, the Coalition felt that they were being handicapped in their ability to prepare for the first war the in Consortium history and decided to dissociate with the Consort, declaring its loyalty to the Consortium as a whole instead. This resulted in them rejecting the services of the Academy, choosing to train their own elite units at Respite Cove.
With the majority of the students body gone and the need for specially-trained law enforcement units was almost non-existent, the Academy was set to be decommissioned. However, a handful of instructors remained, offering to teach their skills to a very select few individuals.
