John
John Feld (Revoked) (a.k.a. Kairn Whitemane (Bounty Hunter)/ Toru Westchapel (Priestess of Twilos)/ Shellier Adon (Thief/Mercenary))
Crashing roughly to the ground, hacking breaths forcing their way from his lungs, the fair-haired man let's tears run down his cheeks. "My god Ameria... they're dead.... all of them they're dead!" Wheezing pants, compete with tears as the man, clad in deep gray robes denoting his status cries to his companion, a dark-skinned woman clad in priestly vestements.
Shaking his head the man exclaims "Oh god it all went wrong so fast... Boethim and Brodimir were at each other's throats, Kilmin left us behind... and that DAMNED owl! The voice... Ameria... the madenning voice!"
Hands curled around his magical staff of warning the obvious mage is disraught, as his companion consoles him. The soft voice whispers placating words of calm, divine healing magic suffusing through his body.
"Sit... rest... those creatures are still out there and we must be prepared for when they return" comes the soft, resolute voice as the man's companion forces him to sit against a bolder, softly teasing his weapon from his grip, resting it against the stone"
Looking up into her soft blue eyes, the gray clad mage feels himself ravaged by the guilt of his friend's death. "It was all my fault Ameria.... oh god it was all my fault" Shaking his head, contorting in anguish and guilt he falls deeper into depression."
"Shhh..." he feels a hand upon his chin, forcing his gaze back to those beautiful blue eyes, framed by a regal face and beautiful blond hair.
"It's okay..." those eyes so ravaged with emotion, mirroring his pain; "We still have each other...." slowly that regal face moving closer to his own, desire... confusion... guilt warring within him; "We will live..." calm settling, resolution building within him... every one of those damned dirty beasts will die by his hand... but beauty in front of him, an ally in need of consoling, his eyes close, lips parted as they move closer to each other.
A shock of pain, steel rending through bone and flesh, his eyes fly open in complete uncomprehending shock. Those eyes, those beautiful blue eyes, that pale straw yellow hair, fading, disappearing. In their place a plain non-descript MAN dark of hair, with a selfish conniving glee burning within his dark black eyes.
The mage feels his strength draining, grasping weakly, at the dagger that is somehow within his gullet. His gaze flights left... darts right confusion still strong a weak gasp of "Ameria!.... Ameria!?" escaping him.
The man's eyes burn with sadistic joy, a smile forming over his face. His lips aren't moving.. but still the mage can hear THE VOICE... that damned sadistic voice, plauging his party for months, within their very minds, sowing discontent, fear, paranoia. That hellish voice that has given no quarter, pitted friends against each other ceaselessly until they have fallen upon each other's swords that voice..... that appeared shortly after the beautiful, kind, pious priestess Ameria joined with the party. Realization, crushing and painful falls upon the mage as he truly grasps the situation.
Reading the soul-crushing understanding finally reach the eyes of the man before him. John feels his smile grow wider, more vicious, as he looks upon the fool mage so easily seperated from his weapon by a pretty face and that idiotic "trust" of a fellow member of his "party"
Finally the job is done, his dagger has struck true, and he can claim his prize, the mages tome of spells, to be harvested and added to his own magical library. His smile fades, as he drives the dagger home, delighting in the pain he can see shoot through the broken man before him. As he sees the light start to fade from the fools eyes, John gives another smile... almost kind in merely being demeaning rather than outright vicious.

Personal history
Born in a small farming village on the southern coast of Keldan's Fey Pactland, bordering the Isle of Spring, John always marked himself as odd. He had an intense stare that did not seem to belong to a child, and showed signs of delinquency and a nose for thievery throughout his youth. He was a natural at getting away with his crimes, learning from his past mistakes to go from getting caught to framing others or simply avoiding detection altogether.
As he grew to a young man he was introduced to the faith of Inmortis, where he worked as an acolyte and chapel boy in the hopes of learning the greater secrets of the god of death. However, wanderlust often drew him into the fairy-filled woods of the Fey Pactland, and as he grew older and bolder he ranged deeper into the wood. He collected herbs for potions there, ingratiating himself to the priesthood there.
It was at this point that small works of accidental magic began to show themselves, drawing the attention of a green hag sworn to the Spring Court. As she drew him in with the intent to kill and eat him, she saw his aura and the favor of Vyra upon his bloodline, causing her instead to try to teach him the ways of Vyra and the Spring Court. He returned to the temple of Inmortis, delving into the vault in which they held forbidden teachings, including the Book of Un. He fled to the edge of the wood to read the tome, reading but unable to comprehend its secrets, showing his accidental magic as it resonated with the secret runes. The hag, revealing her name to be Matharis Rotwood, took him in to tutor him in the use of his powers, the secrets of Vyra and Un, and to use him to ascend the Fey social pyramid.
Now a man well versed in the secrets of trickery and dark magic, Matharis sent him out on missions to gain power and do dark deeds to darken his soul. However, he grew wise to her political schemes, which included offering him up to Vyra, and so he began to counter plot against her. He convinced her to perform a ritual upon him that removed his name and association with his human lineage, convincing her it would prepare him to meet Vyra, Queen of Spring. The ritual, an exhausting act, weakened the hag and allowed John to overtake her. He bound her in a circle of iron and salt, shackled her in iron chains, and wrapped her throat in iron. He bound her to serve him then, forcing her to bring him to the Fey Pactland of the Spring Court.
He ventured under the Isle of Spring, diving into the Fey Underdark ruled by Vyra, and leveraging the existence of his hag vassal to gain an official status as a minor noble in the gentry of the Fey Court of Spring. He swore himself to Knight Lazuli Meadowstem, Knight of the Spring Court who is in turn sworn to Baroness Selene Whiteberry of Spring. Lazuli branded him with a flower tattoo on his left shoulder, allowing his masters to reach him beyond the realms. He remained within the Feywild for a year, learning the secrets of subtle magics before returning to the material plane after causing some anxiety between him and Lazuli. They sent him back to gain more magical power which they believed would help them ascend further in the court, while he schemed to overthrow them and take their seat with the power he meant to gain.
Having returned to the Material Plane, he returned to his home town and discovered how much time had passed, unrecogized by its inhabitants and realizing how much more powerful than his origins he had become. He returned to the chapel in search of greater information on secrets, but was discovered by the church matron who made clear her hatred for him and seeing through his lies. He coaxed her into the magical sleep and committed his first murder, absconding into the night with the secret times.
Having fled his home he forged a Pact with Un, gaining the powers of the Warlock and gaining yet greater power. He begins to kill for the God, stealing secrets from those Un suggests to him and later simply killing on his own for greater magic, coin, and items. He moved on to Eregoth having heard of the rise of the 14th Lord, seeking greater power from them and believing they are unknowing agents of Un, his patron.
