Inaros

Archon of Conquest, War, and Strength

Dread Crusader, the Adamant   Inaros (ih-NARR-os) is the unquenchable urge to lead, the competitive streak that scours the rules for every possible advantage in war, and the indomitable spirit of those who are absolutely sure of their own moral righteousness regardless of what might be more true or fair. The Dread Crusader doesn’t care about who might be fastest, strongest, most beautiful, or wisest. Inaros only cares that their followers have the ability to control, command, and dominate whoever is, so that their expertise and energy can be bent toward a greater goal.   Inaros’ followers can and do function in most societies. They are taught by ancient paradigm to use the least resources to accomplish the most gain, and often this means working within the law to become implacable and irreplaceable. Always calculating and ever ambitious, they seek out opportunities to test their tactics and skills on whatever the society as a whole needs done, and then leverage their resounding victories for even greater responsibility.   Inaros is often depicted as a bull or boar with bright, unblinking red eyes. When they choose to take a humanoid form, they are often unarmored and barely clothed, with flawless skin that matches the servant that summons them and a wickedly spiked morningstar in one or both hands. Inaros believes the appearance of weakness is also a weakness, so they bid their followers to never let their clothing become tatters, never let their armor dull, and never let their bodies be less than everything they can possibly be.   Clerics of Inaros have been known to command the domains of Order, and War.
