Considered the most dangerous settlement in the earldom the icey bog forces many of the harvesters into freezing cold water to retrieve the peat moss, and some do not make it back up. The only reason it is still necessary to harvest the moss here is for the unique capabilities to create frost resistant concoctions. The settlement has funding from the newly founded guild, the Iron Brew Practitioners, located in the city of Stormsurge. Many who come here are traders that seek to sell the ingredients harvested here and adventurers brought here by the lure of money and wonder.
