Bronson
Captain Bronson
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Bronson is built for intense labor and combat, although his leg muscles appear to be neglected compared to his massive upper frame.
Body Features
Bronson stands at 6’2". His frame is rather top heavy, with his legs appearing significantly smaller than his arms, which are large and muscular. The overall shape of his body is very similar to that of a sumo wrestler, but with the fatty flesh being replaced with solid muscle. His neck appears smaller than usual because of his wider shoulders. His skin color is lime green. His hands have a few calluses that have hardened over time.
Facial Features
Bronson has a thick, black mustache that covers his entire upper lip. Below that is a strong jaw that has two tiny tusks poking out. His face is littered with frown lines since that is his default expression. His eyebrows are singed and are a shade lighter than his eyes. His stare and general expression is that of disappointment.
Identifying Characteristics
On his back is a tattoo of a large anchor with the name “Leadie” on it. On his right arm is the mark of the Copper dragon.
Physical quirks
He never slouches, Always standing at attention. When he sits he likes to sink into his chair. And when he walks he likes to take heavy steps.
Special abilities
Bronson is able to cast three spells. Mold Earth, Ray of Frost, and Tasha's Hideous Laughter. He got these powers from aiding a Copper dragon in a quest to bring them back.
Apparel & Accessories
Bronson has no interest in fashion. For him his captain uniform or his armor is good enough when he's on duty. In his off hours he simply dawns a shirt and slacks. If he comes across a magical cloak or ring that will aid him he will put it on without a care of how it may look.
Specialized Equipment
The most important item to Brosnson is his magical greataxe that was made from the anchor of the first boat he owned. Since then he always had it by his side. Since his last great adventure he has obtained dwarven armor. Sculpted in the center chest piece is a large sailing boat with both the sun and moon above it. The helmet also has an anchor shaped decoration that sits right above the eyes.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Bronson was the eldest of three brothers and the son of a human blacksmith and an orc adventurer. Bronson grew up in the small town of Piccola Citta along the Golden Isles. His childhood consisted of helping his father at his smithy and taking care of his two younger brothers Iron and Leadie. Although he had potential as a blacksmith, the profession left him unsatisfied. In his quest for fulfillment he started adventuring through the small woods near the town. One day he decided to take his brothers along with him, a decision that would lead to fatal misfortune. During the trip back home, his youngest brother, Leadie, was attacked by a wolf. Despite the two brother’s attempts at saving him the wounds were fatal. His parents, although saddened by the loss of their youngest, tried to reassure Bronson that they did not blame him for the incident. Even so, he decided it was best to leave. Not long after he began travelling, he came upon the coast for the first time. As he was gazing at the seemingly endless blue he became enthralled by it. At that moment he knew that he wanted to explore the sea. This choice led him into joining the Medici Navy where he eventually earned the rank of captain.
Sexuality

Education
Bronson was home-schooled by his father in not only his craft, but most academic studies such as writing and math. His mother also taught him the basics of combat, a subject he would eventually master. Before he joined the navy he volunteered as a deckhand on various fishing vessels. He did this for about a year before he enlisted into the Medici Navy, where his knowledge of sailing and the ocean expanded.
Employment
Bronson was a captain in the Medici Navy, where he served in for thirty three years. Although he is happy that his job allows him to be on the water for most of the time, he couldn’t help but feel annoyed that he would be dragged into many dangerous, world altering missions by his superiors (mostly Drake). This is especially upsetting when these missions pop up when he's about to go on vacation or go into retirement. But whatever task he's given, he does whatever he can to make sure it gets done. His father didn’t raise a slacker nor did his mother raise a quitter.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Bronson fought alongside the Tri-lord alliance against the house of Oakenshield. He helped lure the enemy to a booby trapped village. He aided Eregoth and Keldan during the attack of Norstir by destroying its walls along with part of their naval fleet. He was one of the original six pilots of Swoletron. Bronson participated in the quest to bring back the dragons, specifically Gwilithyn, the copper dragon. He did battle with said dragon while it was possessed with an outer worldly force. And then he helped convince a god to bring it back to life after it was slain. Finally he freed the city of Ethemble from its corruption before perishing on the moon.
Failures & Embarrassments
Due to the 14th lord’s resurrection, a side effect was an economic decline in his country. In order to make ends meet he was forced to sell off his ship, a small vessel for one. Seeing it go made him reach a new low in his life. When he died in the Practicum he left the world in a state of dissatisfaction. On one hand he was finally done with all the insane, deadly, and stress inducing tasks his higher ups kept pushing on him. But then again, he felt like he had a lot of loose ends in the living world. He didn’t file out a proper resignation. He never had a chance to reconcile with his family, heck he didn’t even get a chance to figure out how to even talk to them about it. He never said goodbye to Drake or his crew mates or any of his friends and allies in combat. But his biggest regret was he never got his last voyage. He died thousands of miles away from the sea. And this hurt him.
Morality & Philosophy
When it comes to getting stuff done, Bronson always makes sure he's on top of it. He will do everything in his power to complete any task. He prefers direct solutions when solving issues because most of his plans are spontaneous.
Taboos
Bronson will not do anything that may harm, or greatly disturb the ocean or marine life. This is especially true for sea turtles who he envies and respects.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Every action Bronson takes leads towards his only goal in life, to be able to retire at sea without a single worry or care in the world. It's why he put up with all the adventures in the first place.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Due to his childhood Bronson, he has the basic blacksmithing knowledge and skills. He also knows how to operate as well as make ships.
Likes & Dislikes
As mentioned before he loves and respects the ocean. So if he ever witnessed someone disrespect it he would be infuriated. He loves sea turtles because they’re green, sturdy, and are able to swim underwater with ease. He also hates having his vacation time delayed or cut short due to work. He loves it when he gets time to himself.
Vices & Personality flaws
Unless a plan is made out prior, Bronson will act on his own in combat. He will usually come up with his own plans without consulting the party.
Personality Quirks
Whenever he's bored he taps either his armor or axe.
Hygiene
His uniform is always worn correctly and is very well cared for, a custom he got used to in the military

Family Ties
The only living members of Bronson’s family that he knows of is his Orc mother, Rock. His human father, Mason, and his brother Iron.. His mother was the one who taught him the basics of combat as well as world knowledge while his father taught him how to build and forge things by himself. Although his interaction with them ceased when he left, he still greatly cares for them. Both his parents feel the same. His brother however holds a little resentment towards him.
Religious Views
Bronson wasn’t raised to be very religious. He knows that there are higher powers, but he won’t go out of his way to interact with them. Nor does he openly pray or ask them to do anything for him. He lets them be and hopes they will follow his example. However after his experience with death he will look into worshiping some marine gods or goddesses. He doesn't want to go back to school for eternity.
Hobbies & Pets
He spends most of his free time on several activities. Like polishing his armor and sharpening his ax, mapping out sail charts for future explorations, taking short trips in his ship, and practicing his blacksmithing occasionally so he doesn’t get too rusty.
Speech
Bronson speaks in a deep, toneless voice. He almost sounds bored unless hes talking to someone he likes or respects or talking about something hes passionate about. When talking to someone its usually very direct, getting right down to the point with no room for any diversions or small talk. Every member in his family is like this
Wealth & Financial state
Bronson grew up in a lower middle class household. There was a steady cash flow, but only enough to get by on the bare essentials. Even when he joined the military it didn’t get much better. What he made he only kept a tiny amount for himself. He would then send the rest to his family when he went inland. When he started taking on the more dangerous jobs he tried to spend more on equipment to better his chances of survival. He also started to save more so he could afford retirement. Which he eventually did.
