When this settlement first formed to harvest the vast quantity of peat moss beneath the town, they are also the settlement that produces the trained dire-beavers used for transportation and carrying goods. Upstream is the large dam that is home to the beavers and is why the city rests mostly a few feet above the moss level and inches from the water. Those that come here come for the beavers to purchase and use them, adventurers come here on occasion to help defend the dam from predators and monsters.
