Rasper

A kenku bard from Ekoros who found their way to Dragonwatch on their travels.
Rasper was hired as protection on the first Sydonian steam train's maiden voyage to Brookstone. During the trip, the train was attacked by bandits. Rasper, alongside 3 other adventurers, fought them back using their bardic magic to hinder the bandits and inspire their allies.
Back in Dragonwatch, Rasper stayed with the heroes from the train and took on a job for the barrow boys clearing out giant vermin in the sewers.
After the battle with the Ettin in the kingswood, Rasper's psychic abilities further manifested to the amazement of the group. They could now strike fear into people by merely speaking with them, and infuse weapon attacks with deadly psychic energy.
In dragonwatch, Rasper found a dragonborn scientist working on a formula for synthetic machine oil and offered to contact a group who might be interesting in funding his research. His research proved successful, and his contact offered to send him to Ekoros for protection and to help with manufacturing.
After Brom the Thinker's breakthrough discovering a synthetic machine oil, he was sent with his formula to Ekoros to aid in the manufacture. With their job in Dragonwatch complete and their debt settled, the Oinopoiós family released Rasper from their service and suggested they find work in Southport.
While sailing aboard the Draugr, Rasper visited the kenku homeland in the emerald isles. They discovered their name was the sound of a kraken, and a sound of dread in kenku legend.
While in the sea elf ruins, Rasper received flashes of memories from their past showing themselves being pulled down into the sea while reaching up for the hands of two kenku (likely parents) on a small boat above. The memories came with secret knowledge of resurrection magic Rasper then used to bring Dox back to life.
Rasper continued to be plagued by dreams and visions while at sea, especially as they approached the mist wall.
Rasper was petrified by a beholder in the Great Library of Mets Gradaran in the mistlands.
