SARTON SEAHUNTERS

Overview

The Sarton Seafarers, or simply SeaHunters, are a organization of pirate hunters, spies, and raider slayers who are apart of the naval fleets of the Sarton Kingdom. They were first formed during the Great Lucine Hunts to hunt down the savage Swindon kingdoms’ fearsome Lucine beasts, who were wrecking havoc upon their fleets. They expanded to hunting down Swindon raiders, and pirates that worked alongside the Swindon kingdoms. The Seafarers are currently involved in on-and-off conflicts on the Swindon islands, with mortality rates high enough that they are constantly recruiting.

Structure

The Seahunters are headed by a head captain of the group, who is responsible for leading the hunting fleet across the routes where their targets are located. Below the Head captain are the captains of each division, who handle day-to-day tasks on the Swindon islands. Below the captains are the lieutenants, who lead teams of hunters to complete objectives that the captains usually have little time to get to.

Public Agenda

Sarton Seahunters are tasked with the hunting down all pirates on the Swindon sea routes, hunting down enemy leaders, pacifying the Swindon through spywork, and assisting in offensives against the various hostiles of the island. The line of work they undertake is incredible dangerous, even for highly skilled SeaHunters who have a successful track record. It is not uncommon for Seahunters to lose members in ambushes, raids, poisoned foods, Blackweller Sigvills, pirate bands, and even Swindon barbarians.
Due to such volatile conditions, the Seahunters are always seeking recruits to train in order to maintain their numbers needed to fulfill their mandate. They will offer many incentives to convince potential recruits to join their ranks. Seahunters have drawn the ire of the main Sarton naval fleets & even the army for once attempt to poaching their members to fill their ranks. Seahunters will make use of mercenaries to supplement their forces, once they have been properly vetted to ensure that no treachery will occur mid-operation.
